Corners are created with special blocks with embedded bolt anchors into which 5/8" bolts are threaded. Tube steel anchors are then bolted into place similar to the vertical reinforcing process as illustrated. |

At regular
intervals, tension rod that is anchored into the footing of the
structure is used to tie in the blocks vertically. These columns
will be filled with concrete once the walls are up, similar to the
corners. The diagrams to the left and below illustrate this process. When we say "Rock Solid Construction", we mean it!. |

Creating your walls is only part of the job since you will need windows as well which will require cutting the blocks. Cutting is also needed to create a 50% offset of vertical seams as each successive row is added. Our next section discusses the relatively simple process of cutting your concrete blocks.
